Implement spatial data models and integrate geospatial data from various sources. Utilize GIS APIs and libraries (like ArcGIS, QGIS, or Leaflet) to create interactive maps and visualizations. Perform spatial analysis and support data analysis projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align GIS solutions with business objectives. Optimize GIS database performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Provide support and training to colleagues on GIS tools and applications. Stay current with geospatial technologies and best practices in GIS development. Proficiency in GIS software and tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.). Experience with GIS programming languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar). Familiarity with spatial databases (PostGIS, Spatialite) and query languages. Knowledge of web mapping technologies (Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Google Maps API). Strong understanding of geospatial data formats (Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, etc.). Experience with data visualization tools is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Geographical Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in GIS development or a related role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
