We are currently seeking a Traffic Engineer, PE in Plano, TX to join a dynamic team focused on enhancing roadway efficiency and saving lives. This position is ideal for professionals with strong traffic or transportation engineering experience who are ready to lead impactful projects that improve traffic flow, reduce crash risks, and enhance the driving experience across the roadways. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traffic Engineer, PE position include :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain withing 6 months.
• 3–5 years of experience in Traffic or Transportation Engineering, with a strong understanding of traffic flow and safety.
• Manage engineering projects and contracts, including scope, design review, scheduling, and budget administration.
• Conduct engineering studies, review plans and estimates, ensure compliance with federal / state regulations.
• Analyze crash and traffic data to identify trends and propose roadway safety and flow improvements.
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors, oversee traffic control plans and lane closure reviews.
• Proficiency with traffic engineering tools such as HCS, VISSIM, GIS, Power BI, and MicroStation is a plus.

Salary : $82,000 - $108,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
