JOB TITLE : Fluoroscopy Tech

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :

• Prepares patients for radiological procedures in the surgical suite following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Performs high quality radiologic imaging on patients in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care
• Ensures continual radiation safety
• Safeguards that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Works closely with surgeons and anticipates needs
• Download and save images to EHR
• Maintain daily schedule ensuring accurate record of case services
• Uses ALARA concept to minimize patient radiation doses and documents exposure into the medical record
