Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Development Database Manager for a leading nonprofit client in San Francisco, CA! This is an onsite / hybrid opportunity requiring 1–3 days per week in the office.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

The  Nonprofit Development Database Manager  plays a critical role in strengthening the organization’s fundraising infrastructure by overseeing donor database systems, reconciling financial data, and ensuring accurate reporting. Working closely with the Deputy Director of Development, this role bridges Development, Finance, and IT functions to streamline operations and enhance donor engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about supporting nonprofit development work through data integrity and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage donor database operations and ensuring data integrity.
  • Oversee gift entry, reconciliations, and reporting to support Finance and Development teams.
  • Prepare financial data for audits, budgets, and leadership reporting.
  • Streamline fundraising operations and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to support donor engagement and campaigns.
  • Safeguard confidential information while providing clear, accurate communication across teams.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 3+ years of nonprofit database experience
  • Knowledge of nonprofit finance, including gift entry, reconciliations, audits, and budget support.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, donor-centered environment.
  • COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :

    This exciting opportunity offers a salary up to  $92,000 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package.
