job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRotating daylight, evening, and night shifts. Rotating weekends and holiday coverage. NO on-call hours or travel! Greets patients and assists with paperwork. Answers phone calls regarding scheduling, questions, and patient history. Properly prepares the patient and MRI coil for accurate imaging, ensuring safe scanning and entrance into the MRI scan room, and conducts MRI screening. Assists with lifting and transferring patients to and from exam tables, as needed. Establishes IV access (e.g. for contrast administration) and assists technologist in the preparation of oral contrast for patients, according to established procedures. Performs telemetry monitoring during exam, as necessary, and transports patients to and from the unit when required. Provides discharge and general instructions to patients. Cleans and prepares exam rooms following established procedures. High School diploma or equivalent. At least one year of previous healthcare industry experience. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Medical and / or Imaging office experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal Act 33 with renewal Act 34 with renewal Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
