DUTIES
Record donations, maintain donor database and run donor reports.
Assist with donor communications, including appeal and thank you letters.
Assist Executive Director in preparing grant requests, tracking use of grant funds and completion of grant reports.
Distribute assistance funds as directed by Executive Director.
COMMUNICATIONS
Manage all social media channels and CROSS Outreach website.
Assist with the distribution of quarterly newsletters and annual report.
Maintain an up-to-date email marketing database.
Develop and implement promotional campaigns to advance CROSS Outreach’s scope and reach.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Attend monthly board meetings.
Additional tasks or projects assigned by the Executive Director.
SKILLS
Interpersonal : Display sound judgement and willingness to work as a team player with minimal direct supervision.
Organizational : Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, organize workload, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Computer / Office : Demonstrated relevant computer skills including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, QuickBooks, Google Analytics, and top social media channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business management, public relations, fundraising or related work experience.
SUPERVISION
The Development and Communications Assistant reports to the Executive Director.
