Hourly Rate 16.15

Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7 : 30-5 : 30 Fri 7 : 30-11 : 30

Summary of Position

Provides first and second-tier end-user technical support via scheduled rotation at the IT Help Desk in addition to on-site assistance in the installation, setup, repair and configuration of desktop hardware and software.

Minimum Required Education

High School Graduate or GED .

Minimum Required Experience

Two years installing, operating and maintaining desktop computers. One year of experience using and configuring Microsoft Office and the Windows Operating Systems. Degrees in a Computer Science or Information Systems related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for an equal number of years of related technical experience (transcripts are required).

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Two years installing, operating and maintaining desktop computers.

One year of experience using and configuring Microsoft Office and the Windows Operating Systems.

Degrees in a Computer Science or Information System related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for an equal number of years of related technical experience (transcripts are required).

Other Information

May require evening and weekend work. Must be willing to travel o Service Area Campuses including the Gatesville Prison. Eligible for coverage under CTC’s commercial auto and other liability insurance policies. Must wear standard department uniform to include steel-toed safety shoes. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
