CLASSIFICATION : SUPPORT STAFF

JOB TITLE : IT FIELD SERVICES TECHNICIAN

CALENDAR : 2611 (12 MONTHS)

SALARY : GRADE 116 (SUPPORT HOURLY)

Job Goal :

Install configure troubleshoot and service computer systems and connected devices usingprocesses that comply with district standards and security policies.

Minimum Qualifications :

• CompTIA A or CCNA certification is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent plus college-level courses in computer technology personal computers operating software and basic electronics
• Knowledge and understanding of computers (Windows and Apple) related peripherals and basic operating principles
• Working knowledge of LAN / WAN components usage basic operating principles and network printing
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct operational problems involved with computer hardware and software
• Ability to analyze difficult and complex operations
• Valid Arizona Drivers license : may need a personal vehicle to travel between sites
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff and the public
• Knowledge of and adherence to all policies regulations and rules
• Strong documentation and communication skills
