About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : 3 years in open heart surgery preferred License : Registered Nurse (California) Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : - 3 years of experience in open heart surgery - Pediatric cardiovascular and vascular hybrid experience preferred - On-call duty required with an average of 3 days of call each week and 1 to 2 weekends a month Description : The role requires a Registered Nurse with expertise in CVOR. This position involves managing patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The candidate must possess the necessary certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. The ability to handle on-call responsibilities is essential. Experience with pediatric cardiovascular and vascular procedures is advantageous. The candidate should be familiar with charting systems, particularly Epic. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for effective collaboration. This role supports a patient population across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Suitable candidates are expected to maintain a high standard of patient care. Flexibility in scheduling is important, particularly for weekend on-call rotations.
