So it is our pleasure to announce that we are currently seeking a full-time candidate for the role of Office Manager to join our team! Veterans preferred for specific VA Shelter locations.
By ICL definition under the direct supervision of the VP and SVP of Shelters an Office Manager is someone primarily responsible for organizing and coordinating all office operations functions and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency such as report preparation payroll and timekeeping and ordering and directing the daily duties of the Admin. Assistant and medical records Clerk.
MIN. ROLE REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES :
- Location : Borough NY 00000 Available Monday to Friday Shift : Hours TBD
- EDU / EXP : GED / HSE or higher and 3 years of clerical secretarial or admin. exp. preferably in a shelter setting
- PLEASE NOTE : Graduation from secretarial school or related college credits or comparable training program can substitute for a portion of the experience requirement

Provide and orient on-site job and other training opportunities for employeesMonitor and record long-distance phone calls controlling all correspondenceLiaise with other agencies organizations and groups as appropriate and directedRecruit select coach and discipline office staff helping to evaluate staff performance laterSupervise the Admin.
