Overview
The Rig Welder will support rigs in all operations that require cutting or welding. Will work from blueprints, sketches, specifications and produce quality work with reasonable efficiency. Will provide own welding machine and power tools to perform the job such as a grinder, porta-band, torch, or gauge. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and also learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.
Responsibilities

- Weld metal and other components to fabricate or repair products
- Cut with a hand torch and beveling machine
- Maintain needed supplies and tools as needed
- Assist other mechanics / craft workers as needed
