Assistant Community Manager Job Description

The Assistant Community Manager is here to greet members and guests with a smile and ensure that they are comfortable at all times.
Assistant Community Managers serve as the Assistant to the Community Manager and is the first line contact and serves as the face of Workuity. They are generally responsible for assisting the Manager with the day to day operations. This includes a number of items and it is imperative that they are able to multitask. The Assistant Community Managers are involved in various activities such as internal communications, public relations, social media, events, cleaning, craigslist, stocking and content creation.
Must be a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional with a commitment to Customer Service Excellence. Also, must be able to set clear boundaries and be flexible and handle feedback.
Assistant Community Manager duties and responsibilities
Included but not limited to the following :
- Ability to perform all Hosts duties
- Reports to the Community Manager
- Leads by example
- On-boarding new members and their teams (following checklist)
- Able to set Clear Boundaries with team and the center members
- Implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
- Set up printers for members
- Respond to customers in a timely manner
- Help Managers with Monitoring, tracking and report on any center needs
- Organize and help manage events to boost brand awareness
- Create / Manage and set up Lunch and Learns
- Set up catering needs
- Work with Dan on internal Marketing communicating back to CM
- Complete Craigslist and train Hosts
- Assist with selling offices when Sales Team is unavailable may include Tours & Follow-ups
- Communicate to team members in a professional manner to achieve Customer Service Objectives
- Build relationships with customers, industry professionals
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
- Anything else directed by Manager that is needed to ensure that the center needs and the needs of our members are met.
- Is Back-up safety point of contact
- May be required to open & close location
- Occasional after hours may be required
- Receives / deliver mail and / or packages-MAY DELEGATE this task to Host as needed
