Were looking for a hands-on detail-oriented leader to oversee the daily operations of our Accounts Payable function at our Grand Rapids headquarters. This is an on-site role where your leadership will directly impact financial accuracy vendor relationships and operational efficiency.

Functions / Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support the AP team in processing invoices and managing vendor accounts
  • Prepare forecasts and analyze financial trends to support strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and resolve issues
  • Report regularly to senior leadership with insights and recommendations
  • Oversee Accounts Payable Operations : Supervise the AP team ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices vendor payments and adherence to internal controls.
  • Ensure Compliance and Accuracy : Maintain compliance with financial policies procedures and regulatory requirements while ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Partner with departments such as procurement operations and finance to resolve issues improve processes and support business initiatives.
  • Support Month-End and Audit Activities : Assist with month-end close reconciliations and preparation of audit documentation related to both financial analysis and accounts payable.

    • Education :

  • Associates degree or 2 Years Professional Experience Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.

    • Experience :

  • 2 Years Experience of supervisory or team leadership experience ideally within accounts payable or a related function.
  • Strong background in financial reporting budgeting and variance analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools
