Overview

We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is experienced in both clinical procedures and front office operations , including insurance verification , scheduling , and treatment plan presentation . This is a great opportunity for a dependable, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office :

Greet and check in patients with a welcoming demeanor

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to scheduling

Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, email, or dental software

Present treatment plans clearly, including procedures, estimated costs, and payment options

Answer patient inquiries regarding treatments, clinic policies, and procedures

Back Office :

Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures

Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and treatment rooms

Take dental X-rays

Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment

Perform basic lab tasks as needed

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Order and manage dental inventory and supplies

Comply with all infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Texas

High school diploma or GED

Current CPR certification

Proficient in taking dental X-rays

Comfortable presenting treatment plans to patients

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

Experience with dental software ( Open Dental preferred but not required)

Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification is a plus
