As a K5 Math Tutor at Braintrust Tutors, youll help young learners build essential number sense and problem-solving skills through engaging, targeted instruction delivered in a school setting. Using our structured intervention materials, youll provide high-quality support that drives measurable student growth.

Tutoring Details :
- Start Date - End of September / Early October
- 12-week tutoring assignment
- School Hours - Days and times to be determined
- 2-3 days a week
- 45-minute sessions / small group
What You Will Do :
Provide in-person, small-group or 1 : 1 math tutoring to K-5 school students during the school day or after schoolImplement Braintrusts intervention programs as designed, using all materials with fidelityMonitor student progress and adjust instruction accordinglyMaintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performanceCollaborate with the Braintrust Operations team and school staff to support student growthFoster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes focus and confidenceFollow school-site procedures and policies while maintaining a professional and dependable presenceUse provided assessments and progress monitoring tools for understanding to guide instructionManage time effectively during sessions to complete all planned instructional activitiesWhat You Will Have :
Bachelors degree in Education or a related fieldActive or expired teaching licenseKnowledge of math instruction that builds number sense, procedural fluency, and problem-solving skills, with a scope and sequence ranging from counting to multi-digit arithmetic, including decimals and fractions.Experience working with elementary-aged students preferredStrong classroom management and communication skillsComfort navigating a school environment and collaborating with teachers and staffPunctuality, professionalism, and reliability for all scheduled sessionsPassion for literacy and closing opportunity gapsNext Steps!
