Salaried : $75,000 – $105,000 annually

About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Pension Administrator (or Senior Pension Administrator) to join our remote team in a client-facing role. You’ll be entrusted with managing the administration of a diverse portfolio of defined contribution plans—ranging in size, structure, and complexity.
This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building lasting relationships with clients and collaborating with a supportive network of specialists, consultants, and coordinators.
If you have DB / DC combo plan experience, you’ll also enjoy a tailored caseload that incorporates those plan types. Your initial caseload will start at 40–50 plans and grow annually until you reach a full portfolio of 80 plans.
Key Responsibilities
Plan Administration
Manage eligibility determinations, employee data corrections, and complex contribution calculationsPerform compliance testing across a variety of retirement plan benchmarksPrepare variance reports, asset reconciliations, valuations, and necessary tax forms (Forms 5500, 8955-SSA, and others)Support client audits with precision and clarityDocument Review & Consulting
Explain plan document provisions and amendments in simple, accessible termsSuggest strategic amendments to enhance plan administrationClient Relations & Communication
Provide timely, friendly, and professional responses to client inquiriesSimplify complex pension topics to foster client understanding and confidenceOffer problem-solving insight that adds genuine value to client experiencesProfessional Development & Collaboration

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferredASPPA QKA, QKC, QPA, CPC or NIPA AKS, APA, ARP credentials preferredUncredentialed applicants : we’ll support you in earning your QKA (within 6 months) and QKC (within 12 months)—including exam reimbursement upon passingMinimum 5 years in a TPA firm, working across a variety of defined contribution plansTech Proficiency
