Duty Schedule :

Monday – Friday; 8 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 PM / 1 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 PM; occasional travel, and hours after hours.

Summary / Objective of Position :

The Multimedia Production Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality, culturally aligned multimedia content that aligns with Dine College's mission and Navajo philosophy. This role involves leveraging advanced production techniques to create content for various platforms, including social media, livestreams, and the college's website, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity. The Specialist will utilize storytelling and design expertise to highlight institutional achievements, programs, and events effectively, engaging target audiences such as students, faculty, alumni, and the Navajo Nation. Their work will focus on enhancing brand visibility, driving audience engagement, and supporting strategic objectives such as student recruitment, donor relations, and community outreach.

Essential Functions of the Multimedia Specialist

• Creative Marketing :

Develop and execute multimedia content that incorporates visual, auditory, and emotional elements.

Focus on the technical aspects of marketing, including data collection and analysis.

Act as a brand ambassador to inspire and motivate audiences.

Research to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.

Hold a drone certification and operate drones for marketing purposes, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.

Maintain experience with nomenclature for inventory, technical equipment, and office supplies.

Work independently while effectively managing tasks and responsibilities.

Maintain a pleasant personal appearance and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Possess a thorough understanding of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and its implications for student privacy.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of journalistic ethics and protocols, including accuracy, fairness, and accountability in reporting.
