JOB TITLE : Aircraft Mechanical & Structural Technician

LOCATION : Mesa AZ

PAY RATE : $29-38 / hour

Summary :

Perform bench assembly and installation of mechanical and structural components in accordance with engineering data and manufacturing plans.

Execute functional and operational tests of mechanical components and systems; document results per test procedures.

Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies using engineering drawings wiring diagrams schematics and authorized technical data.

Follow work instructions blueprints and manufacturing documentation to assemble install remove or replace aircraft components and hardware.

Maintain a clean safe and compliant work area in adherence with all EHS and tooling requirements.

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production and delivery goals.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required.

4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational training or Associate degree 2 years related experience).

Experience in aviation mechanical and structural assembly with knowledge of production processes composites and structural manufacturing.

Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings change memos and test procedures.

Proficient with specialized tools such as cornice brakes rivet squeezers metal shears crimpers multimeters and related equipment.

Ability to read interpret and apply engineering drawings blueprints and specifications.

Knowledge of FOD prevention material handling safety calibration and ESD procedures.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
