Capital Markets Data Scientist

PayPal's Capital Markets Data Scientist role is a Senior Manager level that offers a unique opportunity to work with global loan data encompassing diverse portfolios to deliver actionable analytics. This role supports internal teams and investors by providing sophisticated data insights and analytics for financial modeling, with a focus on Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) deals in collaboration with counterparties. This position is vital to driving data-informed decisions that facilitate PayPal's leadership in innovative financial products within global capital markets.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Develop and articulate clear objectives and implement strategies that deliver results and meet Financial goals
• Influence decision-making at the senior leadership level
• Perform the most highly complex credit and lending assessments using knowledge and extensive business expertise
• Develop and deliver innovative strategies that benefit customers and / or clients for financial success
• Lead major business projects which impact a business unit or entire function
• Design, evaluate, and select financial objectives based on thorough understanding of business needs and industry trends
• Lead others to solve issues of diverse scope

The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $137,500 to $236,500
