In our 1 : 1 ABA setting, you will work closely with children aged 18 months to 8 years, applying ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. Key Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist :
- Utilize the principles of one-on-one ABA therapy to support children with Autism in reaching their full potential by implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and incorporating feedback from supervisors.
- Facilitate the development of children in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years old) through engaging therapies and enjoyable activities.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance treatment effectiveness, ensure safety, and promote a positive working atmosphere.
- Interact with children through playful activities like running, dancing, or reading to keep them engaged and create a joyful environment.
- Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and team members to coordinate activities and celebrate progress.
Job Requirements :
Physical capability to lift and move children in a dynamic setting, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and engaging in play.Maintain a conducive therapy environment by ensuring play areas are tidy and organized for an enjoyable experience.Multitasking skills to handle various activities, decisions, or conversations while ensuring safety and prioritizing care.Team support by working collaboratively within the center and potentially traveling to nearby locations if required.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary.Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.Complete the RBT certification within 20 days of employment by finishing a 40-hour training curriculum, passing a hands-on competency assessment, and registering for the exam.

Associates / High School : $15.00 - $22.50Bachelors : $15.00 - $24.00Masters : $16.00 - $26.00For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience :
Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.).Mental health roles or advocacy (QMHP, behavioral health technicians).Experience as camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers.Degrees in fields such as teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related areas.Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support workers, or life skills assistants.A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.A desire to be part of a caring, team-oriented culture.Join us and see why our team loves working here – check out our reviews!
