Founded in , FAI provides a broad range of fulfillment services to national and international companies. These services include the ecommerce B2C and B2B fulfillment, literature, POP and other collateral materials, print-on-demand, inbound services, kit assembly, pick and pack, warehousing, and logistics.

FAI is seeking a Printing Machine Operator to join our growing team! The right candidate will have prior experience with multiple printer varieties, possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and be open and willing to learn about new print equipment.

Position Details :

  • Full-Time, with potential for overtime in peak season
  • 18-$25

Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • None

    • Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Operates various printing machines including but not limited to digital print machines, die

    • cutting machines, letter press machines, UV wide format machines, envelope printing

    machines, and screen printing machines.

  • Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs.
  • Monitor print jobs to ensure high-quality standards, making necessary adjustments to

    • equipment settings as needed.

  • Maintains inventory of supplies needed to operate printing machines.
  • Fulfill daily orders for foil stamping and / or die cutting on Kluge press.
  • Meet quality standards for color, consistency and alignment.
  • Create photopolymer plates.
  • Operate Heidelberg windmill press.

    • Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to train on new printing machinery as needed.

    • Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational / technical school training preferred.
  • Previous related experience required.

    • Physical Requirements :

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend and kneel. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision.
