Position Overview
This Adjunct Faculty member will teach courses in Animation and Game Development.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities : MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
Master's Degree in Video Game Development and Design related field (e.g. Computer Science, Modeling and Simulation, 3-D Visualization) or Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Game Development related field as listed aboveAll educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionPossess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skillsPossess excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work well with students, faculty, staff and the communityDemonstrated effective use of active learning techniquesAbility to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staffAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignmentsPreferences
