Job Description

Job Title : Manufacturing Planner / Scheduler

Location : Oceanside, CA

Duration : 24 Months

Pay Rate : $60 / hr on W2 (Negotiable)

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner / Scheduler to support our operations in Oceanside, CA. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in production planning, scheduling, and supply chain analytics, with proven experience using SAP S / 4HANA. This role will ensure seamless production scheduling, optimize material flow, and drive supply chain efficiency in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, manage, and optimize detailed production schedules to meet demand and operational goals.
  • Leverage SAP S / 4HANA for material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and production execution.
  • Perform supply chain analytics to identify risks, improve efficiency, and support decision-making.
  • Partner with procurement, operations, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to maintain inventory targets and production efficiency.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on planning accuracy, KPIs, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning, scheduling, and supply chain processes.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with SAP S / 4HANA is required; experience with OMP and Fiori is a plus.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
