Coordinator Web Communications (part time)

Job Summary : Collin College is a dynamic, fast-paced, high-quality institution of higher learning. As the coordinator of digital communications, this role is a member of the district's communications team and supports marketing and communications to external and internal audiences through all digital platforms including social media, the district's website and audio / visual channels to help the college achieve its strategic objectives. Required Qualifications : Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the district's website by ensuring content is accurate, relevant to target audiences, and up-to-date. Work with internal partners to provide proactive and timely updates to web content. Assist in updating and maintaining web pages in the web content management system to enhance the college's image and conform to brand uniformity standards. Ensure accuracy of the content on the college's primary web pages, including searching, reviewing, and approving links in accordance with the college's guidelines. Support website traffic and engagement analysis using Google Analytics. Assist in creating website landing pages to support strategic digital communication efforts. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws for digital communications. Supplemental Functions Perform other duties as assigned. Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and Core Values.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and / or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Requirements An associate degree in computer science, a related field or a communications degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of experience with content management systems.
