Job Title : Physician Specialist Psychiatrist

Location : Osawatomie, KS 66064

Duration : 3+ months with possible extension

Shift : 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm

Hours : 8 hours / day

Essential functions :

• Physician will provide psychiatric, and to some extent, medical services. Physician will admit, evaluate, treat patients.
• Physician will enter required assessment, treatment and discharge planning documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Physician will enter medication orders on pharmacy system.
• Physician will actively participate in the individualized multidisciplinary treatment process and discharge planning.
• Physician will participate in hospital wide performance improvement activities and other medical staff functions as assigned.
• Physician will prepare court reports in collaboration with the treatment team and will attend court hearings as expert witness.
