Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

• Telecare's behavioral health program is a 24 / 7, Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis.
• MCRT is creating an opportunity for Clinicians, and Certified Peer Supports to intervene in a unique way that has never been done before in our system of care.
• This program collaborates and accepts referrals from County Access and Crisis Line (ACL) and law enforcement.
• MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management.
• Each team will respond to calls from the mobile crisis van to provide services directly in the field.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician will provide crisis triage and management, risk assessment and also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator's Office, Public Guardian's Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers.

Shifts Available :

AM Shift 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

PM Shift 3 pm to 11 : 30 pm

NOC shift 11 pm to 7 : 30 am

Expected starting wage range is $ 43.04- $ 53.15 plus shift differentials. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator's Office, Public Guardian's Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers. This individual may be assigned to work in program or remotely based on the program business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Collaborates with Program Director / Administrator to ensure program offers individuals served increasing opportunities for employment, social integration and independent living

Maintains and participates actively in program activities when present

Participates in the program evaluation process, utilizing results to identify needs, establish goals and directions for future planning as assigned

Attends and oversees the monthly Utilization Review process, including monthly and quarterly data reports to County and other stakeholders as necessary

May assist in training staff to complete service plans and risk assessments; oversees service planning and risk assessment for all clients of the program

May oversee referrals to the Program as assigned

Provides safe, effective and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care; provides direct services to clients, families and clients' community supports

Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with persons served

Attends and participates in primary therapy, community meetings, family therapy, and groups

Participates as a team member and provides input via reporting observations, concerns and asking appropriate questions

May facilitate and participate in team meetings and service planning meetings as assigned

Provides leadership in facilitating the team process

Provides 24 / 7 on-call (cell phone) coverage as needed

Assures that clients know and understand their legal status and rights

Ensures all clinical issues are addressed around hospitalization of members served

Assists with Service Coordination Plan, including :

o Appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services, as assigned.

o Coordinating with the office support staff to assure that client benefits and finance are in order, as assigned

o Developing and maintaining an awareness of community resources

Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and / or changed at the discretion of management.

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, squat, kneel and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently twist and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity and to occasionally drive as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious).
