AiTech Defense Systems in Chatsworth, CA is currently seeking for a Sr. Test Engineer

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Work with hardware and software engineers on issues such as change implementation, production test development, and design verification testing.
  • Answer questions and support requests from customers, engineers and program managers.
  • Support and perform design verification and qualification testing.
  • Debug and oversee the repair of customer returns.
  • Support engineering projects and assist in investigations.
  • Change directions quickly as priorities will change often.
  • Seek and suggest timesaving methods to improve productivity and quality.
  • Support other technicians on team actions.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in troubleshooting and repair of production electronic assemblies for the military industry and a working knowledge of VME SBC's
  • Experience in leading and mentoring other test technicians, developing test methodologies and procedures and interfacing with engineers and customers.
  • Must be experienced and comfortable working in a production / laboratory environment.
  • BS in Electronic Engineering or other related field.
