Reporting to the Accounting Manager this is a part-time role that completes payments and controls expenses by receiving processing verifying and reconciling invoices.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to :

• Receives and verifies vendor invoice; reconciles invoices and other financial reports with account balances and other office records
• Facilitates payment of vendors which may include verification of federal ID numbers reviewing purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment identifies discount opportunities and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed
• Assists with reconciling monthly statements and general ledger transactions as well as monthly closing by applying appropriate accounting standards
• Manages corporate credit card and reconciles each month
• Copies files and retrieves materials for accounts payable as needed
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of companys financial information
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Due to our onsite Fabrication process the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job employee may be exposed to wet and / or humid conditions moving mechanical parts fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.

This is a part-time hourly (non-exempt) position.
