This is a hybrid position - 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Position Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee and manage the organization's tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions. The individual will ensure that all tax-related activities are compliant with current regulations while optimizing the company's tax position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
• Coordinate tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding tax matters.
• Train and mentor junior tax staff in tax accounting practices.
