Project Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with over 10 years of experience to join our team. This role involves a combination of fieldwork, site visits in the Midwest market, and occasional travel. The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, with production work comprising 20-25% of weekly hours. The Project Manager will oversee projects and small teams, handle construction administration, attend OAC meetings, and manage client-facing activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to corporate templates and standards.
- Conduct site visits and fieldwork, including travel for local day trips and occasional air travel.
- Perform AutoCAD production work, focusing on construction documents and shop drawings.
- Coordinate and oversee small teams of 1-2 people on a project-by-project basis.
- Engage in client-facing activities and maintain high levels of communication.
- Process shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for projects.
- Work on interior alteration projects, office build-outs, and retail projects.
- Coordinate details and finishes, ensuring compliance with ADA requirements and building codes.
- Thrive in a smaller office environment, taking on various tasks and projects as needed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD.8+ years of experience at an architecture firm working on commercial projects.Strong knowledge of construction documents and detailing for interior alterations.Ability to manage projects and coordinate with contractors.Excellent communication skills for remote work and client interaction.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture.Experience with prototypical projects, retail build-outs, and renovation commercial projects.Prior experience managing projects and conducting site visits.Experience working on commercial / prototypical projects is preferred.Client-facing experience is advantageous but not required.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $55.28 / hr.
