Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Test Automation Engineer to join a dynamic team at the heart of store technology innovation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems that directly impact customer experience and operational efficiency.

As a senior member of the QA team, you will design and implement robust automation frameworks, collaborate across engineering and product teams, and drive quality assurance practices throughout the development lifecycle. Your contributions will help shape scalable, resilient solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch to support scalable testing solutions.

Define, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business risks and refine user stories.

Execute automated and manual tests to validate web applications and backend services.

Integrate test automation into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.

Monitor and report on test results, defects, and quality metrics.

Apply TDD and BDD methodologies using Gherkin syntax to enhance test coverage.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Key Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong foundation in software testing principles.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (, JavaScript, Java, C#).

Hands-on experience with test tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Karate, or JMeter.

At least 1 year of experience with MongoDB, , and AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch).

Familiarity with CI / CD tools and processes, including Jenkins and pipeline configuration.

Experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments.

Strong understanding of web testing and development practices.

Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for quality.
