job_description.job_card.job_descriptionValid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (e.g., Mild / Moderate, Moderate / Intensive or other applicable licensure). Bachelor’s degree (in Special Education or related field); Master’s preferred. Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in a K-12 setting, including experience with IEPs and special education services. Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to use data to inform instruction, progress monitor, and adjust interventions. Commitment to inclusion, equity, and meeting the unique needs of every student. Experience with behavior intervention plans (BIPs), functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and inclusive classroom supports preferred. Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) framework and Tier 2 / 3 interventions preferred. Provide specialized instruction and support to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state law. Develop, implement, monitor, and revise IEPs, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, families, and outside agencies to coordinate services, accommodations, modifications, and interventions. Use data-driven decision making for progress monitoring, adjusting instructional practices and intervention strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, intervention efforts, and required special education records in compliance with district and state requirements. Provide differentiated instruction and scaffolding to meet the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of students with disabilities. Participate in professional development, collaborate in school improvement initiatives, and contribute to a positive school culture. $1,600 – $1,800 per week Dedicated and experienced Education Specialists here to serve you Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance plans available 401(k) and Flex Spending available Paid vacation time upon eligibility Referral bonuses WEEKLY Direct Deposit
