Civil Inspector - Water

We are seeking Construction Inspectors for a project with the City of Phoenix. There are two openings available, and we are looking to conduct interviews as soon as possible. The selected candidates will start in early August. The position requires a valid driver's license, as vehicles will be provided along with a work phone or phone expense coverage. Successful candidates must pass the City of Phoenix screening. The project is estimated to last 3-4 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field inspections to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
• Monitor, observe, and record daily work performed.
• Attend meetings related to projects as required.
• Resolve construction field conflicts.
• Follow safety rules and practices for all projects.
• Maintain and take care of all company equipment and vehicles.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Environment

The position is based in the Phoenix office. The work involves outdoor activities, requiring sufficient stamina to handle Arizona summer temperatures. Candidates are expected to maintain a professional demeanor while utilizing provided company equipment and vehicles. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
