CARDIAC TELEMETRY

Job Title : RN – Telemetry

Rate : Up to $1700.00.00 weekly

Location : Stockbridge, GA

Day Shift (12H)

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Monitoring : monitor patients' heart rates and rhythms using specialized telemetry equipment, detect and respond to any abnormal readings or changes in a patient's condition.

Patient Assessment : perform routine assessments of patients, including checking vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. This helps in identifying any potential complications early.

Interpreting Data : analyze data from electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other monitoring devices to interpret cardiac rhythms and identify any irregularities that may require immediate medical attention.

Administering Medications : administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care.

Patient Education : educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care, including lifestyle changes and medication management.

Collaboration : work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.

Emergency Response : trained to respond quickly, which may include administering cardioversion or defibrillation for patients experiencing cardiac arrest or severe arrhythmias.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
