IT Student Technicians work to assist Library patrons and staff with technology issues. IT Student Technicians are entrusted with a high level of responsibility and have the opportunity to develop creative solutions to technical challenges.

Duties include : monitoring and responding to the Libraries IT Service Desk support requests; diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues; assisting with hardware, software, and network support; maintaining IT equipment and supporting Libraries computing.

Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience while working alongside professional IT staff, supporting best-in-class enterprise technology solutions across D.H. Hill Jr., James B. Hunt Jr., and NC State University branch libraries.
