Description

Job Title : X-Ray Tech (PRN)

Schedule :

  • Tuesday& Fridays for the first 4 weeks,
  • Last week of July, between 24-40 hours of coverage needed
  • PRN after

West Michigan Orthopedics, a respected independent orthopedic practice, is seeking a Per Diem X-Ray Technician to support its clinical team on an as-needed basis. This is a job-share position with core coverage needs on Tuesdays and Fridays, with additional shifts available to cover for the job-share partner or other absences.

This role offers a great opportunity for a flexible and dependable technician looking to work in a daytime-only outpatient setting no nights, weekends, or holidays required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-Ray equipment.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams with an emphasis on safety and comfort.
  • Operate equipment following established safety and quality standards.
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and coordinate with physicians as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-maintained.
  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide support throughout the process.
  • Assist with occasional phone coverage and general clinic duties.

    • Qualifications

    Qualifications :

  • ARRT certification preferred (equivalent education or experience will be considered).
  • Comfortable using EMRs and general computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Prior orthopedic imaging experience is helpful but not required.
  • Reliable and adaptable, with a professional, team-oriented attitude.

    • Position Highlights :

    Per diem status hours vary based on clinic coverage needs.

    Primary availability needed on Tuesdays and Fridays.
