Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse - CVOR Provide perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative handoff. Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety. Administer medications, monitor anesthesia, and maintain patient stability throughout surgeries. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care instructions. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with CVOR and facility standards. Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based perioperative cardiovascular care. Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse - CVOR Role Active Texas RN license or eligibility. Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CNOR preferred.
