Position Summary

The Director of Workforce Partnerships and Program Operations serves as a critical operational leader within the College of Professional Studies (PSC) executing the colleges workforce partnership strategy and managing the seamless integration of credit and non-credit programming. Reporting to the Executive Director of AI Technologies and Strategic Operations this position translates strategic partnership goals into operational excellence while coordinating adjunct faculty across both credit and non-credit spaces.

This role is essential to PSCs revenue recovery plan directly supporting the goal of enrolling corporate partnership students annually through meticulous employer relationship coordination program delivery management and operational support to the enrollment management team. The Director ensures that credit-to-non-credit pathway development prior learning assessment (PLA) integration and employer partnership deliverables are executed with precision and consistency.

Working at the intersection of academic operations employer relations and adjunct faculty management this position builds the operational infrastructure that enables PSCs transformation from traditional academic programming to an innovative workforce-responsive model. The ideal candidate combines strong project coordination skills relationship management capabilities and operational excellence to support the colleges ambitious growth and transformation objectives.

Essential Functions

Employer Partnership Coordination & Delivery (30%)

  • Facilitate day-to-day delivery of corporate partnership programs ensuring quality compliance and client satisfaction
  • Manage operational aspects of new employer partnerships including documentation tuition reimbursement processes cohort formation and ongoing communication protocols
  • Lead program logistics for corporate partners including scheduling student communications employer reporting and issue resolution to ensure seamless delivery experience
  • Serve as operational liaison to the Enrollment Managers providing CRM support documentation management and partnership coordination to enable achievement of per quarter goals
  • Maintain regular communication with HR contacts and learning and development coordinators at partner organizations addressing operational questions and gathering feedback for continuous improvement
  • Credit-to-Non-Credit Program Transition Management (30%)
  • Oversee the operational design and implementation of Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) pathways that connect non-credit programming to credit-bearing academic programs ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies
  • Manage the transition of retiring credit programs into non-credit offerings working with directors and teams to adapt curriculum pricing and delivery models
  • Document pathways between non-credit certificates credit certificates and degree programs creating transparent progression opportunities for learners and employers
  • Ensure all credit-to-non-credit transitions maintain academic rigor meet regulatory requirements and align with institutional credit-granting policies
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of PLA processes credit equivalencies and program pathways in institutional systems (CRM LMS student information systems)

Adjunct Faculty Management (25%)

  • Recruit screen and onboard adjunct faculty for both credit and non-credit programming ensuring alignment with program quality standards and instructional excellence expectations
  • Oversee adjunct teaching assignments across credit and non-credit courses managing workload distribution scheduling conflicts and last-minute coverage needs
  • Conduct regular check-ins with adjunct faculty gather student feedback coordinate classroom observations and address performance concerns in collaboration with academic directors
  • Operational Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%)

  • Maintain data integrity in Salesforce and other systems related to employer partnerships student enrollments and program delivery metrics
  • Generate regular reports on partnership performance enrollment trends adjunct utilization and program delivery metrics to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with marketing student success enrollment management finance and academic teams to ensure alignment and seamless student and employer
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that reduce administrative burden improve quality and enhance scalability
  • Track program delivery expenses adjunct costs and partnership revenue in support of college financial planning and forecasting

  • Experience coordinating operational aspects of educational programs corporate training or workforce development initiatives

  • Understanding of higher education credit systems prior learning assessment principles and academic compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of corporate learning and development practices tuition reimbursement programs and employer partnership models

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) learning management systems (Canvas preferred) and student information systems
  • Experience with data management reporting and analytics tools
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in business education human resources organizational development or related field
  • Minimum 7.5 years of progressively responsible experience in program operations corporate training coordination academic program management or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational aspects of partnerships contracts or client relationships
  • Experience coordinating faculty instructors or trainers in educational or professional development settings
  • Proven track record of process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Strong technology skills including CRM and LMS platforms
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Terminal degree in higher education business administration organizational development or related field
  • Experience in continuing education professional studies or workforce development within higher education
  • Knowledge of Guild Education platform and corporate tuition reimbursement partnerships
  • Familiarity with prior learning assessment (PLA) and competency-based education models
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM Canvas LMS and Slate enrollment management systems
  • Background in both academic operations and corporate training environments
  • Project management certification (PMP Agile or similar)
  • Experience working in organizations undergoing significant transformation or restructuring

    Salary Grade Number

    The salary grade for the position is 13.

    Salary Range

    The salary range for this position is $90000-$100000.

    The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
