Floater / Closer in Childcare Center

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team.

All applicants must be able to work until 6 : 00 PM

The Assistant Teacher / Floater supports multiple classrooms as needed, working with children from infancy through preschool. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities :

• Assist classroom teachers with daily routines, activities, and supervision
• Help create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
• Support children during play, meals, naps, and transitions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom
• Communicate effectively with staff and families
• Float between classrooms as staffing needs arise
• Experience working with young children (preferred but not required)
• HS Diploma or higher education
• Friendly, patient, and energetic demeanor
• Flexibility to work in different classrooms as needed
• Must be available to work late hours, specifically until 6 : 00 PM
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Must meet licensing and background check requirements
