    The Company is in search of a Vice President of Strategic Communications to lead a nationally respected team in advancing the reputation of its client institutions. The successful candidate will be a visionary communications leader with a proven track record in strategic communications, public relations, and crisis management, preferably within a mission-driven sector. This executive will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication frameworks, serving as the primary advisor on public relations and media strategy, and directing crisis and issues management planning. A key aspect of the role is to mentor and empower a team of professionals, fostering innovation and collaboration, and to represent the company nationally through thought leadership in higher-education communications.

    Applicants for the Vice President of Strategic Communications position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' of progressive leadership experience in the field, a Bachelor's degree in a related area, and a Master's degree is preferred. The role requires a candidate with strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to navigate sensitive issues with diplomacy and composure. An innovative mindset and a commitment to collaboration, integrity, and excellence are essential. The Vice President will also be expected to have a demonstrated success in developing media relationships and securing coverage in national and industry outlets, as well as the ability to shape communication strategy across a diverse higher education portfolio.
