Job Summary :
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) plays a key role in delivering quality patient care by performing phlebotomy and specimen preparation tasks. As the front-line representative of a leading diagnostic information services provider, the PSR II ensures accurate, safe, and compassionate interactions with patients. This role involves direct patient contact, quality specimen collection, and compliance with healthcare protocols in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following safety and clinical guidelines
- Verify patient identity and label specimens accurately in the patient’s presence
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Deliver exceptional service to pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations
- Promote a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment
- Travel to cover multiple patient services or in-office phlebotomy locations as needed
- Exhibit leadership behaviors, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Adhere to all policies, including dress code, health & safety, and company procedures
Required Experience :
years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collectionsyears in a Patient Service Center environment preferredPrior customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service settingExperience with data entry and basic computer systemsyears of dedicated pediatric phlebotomy experience requiredNice-to-Have Experience :
Experience with paramedic or medical assistant trainingPrevious work in high-volume healthcare settingsRequired Skills :
