Traffic Clerk

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Traffic Clerk to join our growing logistics operation in Pasadena, TX. The ideal candidate will be organized, bilingual, and able to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strong communication with drivers and internal teams.

Pay Rate

17.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule & Hours

Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Overtime & weekends as needed)

Traffic Clerk Duties & Responsibilities

  • Check in drivers at the traffic window.
  • Assign dock doors in coordination with warehouse managers.
  • Verify and review paperwork after loading to ensure accuracy.
  • Sign out drivers once loading is complete.
  • Record and update arrival / departure times in GoogleDocs.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with drivers and co-workers.
  • Handle a high-volume traffic window with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support overall logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations.

Traffic Clerk Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) required for driver communication.
  • Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to work overtime / weekends as business needs arise.
  • Strong attention to detail for paperwork accuracy and data tracking.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
