Garver is hiring a n entry-level Graphic Designer to join our Transportation Strateg ic Communications team to support in visually translating ideas and messaging into a variety of deliverables. This position will be located in Round Rock, TX.

The successful candidate must be creative and have the ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities. A strong sense of teamwork and know how to prioritize duties to meet deadlines are required.

This is a fast-paced role with varying day-to-day responsibilities, giving you the chance to be creative in delivering messages and imagery in tasks such as :

  • Designing visual assets that enhance clarity and professionalism in business communications, including reports, presentations, and internal and external strategic messaging
  • Creating graphics for web and print collateral that align with brand standards
  • Building vector Illustrations, such as infographics and project maps
  • Developing, conceptualizing, and collaboratively working with the team to create visually appealing content
  • Photo-editing
  • Coordinating production of materials , c opyediting / drafting written materials , and p roducing reports
  • Offering creative ideas, process improvements, and technological solutions to expand the team’s abilities

  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field ( ie graphic design, media arts, visual communication, etc.)
  • Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) , specifically on Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Strong written, graphical, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage work, problem solve , and execute tasks on schedule
  • Ability to work as a member of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable working and speaking with employees in different departments across the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail – particularly in incorporating feedback and edits from multiple team members
  • 0-1 years of work history in a corporate environment
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office software including Word and PowerPoint
