Production Associate I - Disassembly / Cleaning and Inspection Pay Rate : $23.50 / hr Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM Contract Length : 12 months We are looking for a skilled, safety-oriented technician with hands-on experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment work. You will be responsible for the teardown of large 60L and 78L engines, which includes working with overhead cranes and hoists to lift heavy components, as well as using various hand and power tools to disassemble engine parts. Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or unsafe condition. Follow all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Promote a culture of safety and look out for team members. Correct hazards within your control. Understand how your work may impact the environment and work to reduce negative impacts. Participate actively in required HSE training. Quality Follow all standard work procedures and quality documentation (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards). Raise quality concerns promptly to minimize defects and cost impacts. Perform quality inspections on components. Identify and control non-conforming materials. Production Meet or exceed daily production goals and cycle times. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping and basic machine cleaning. Perform routine operator care and maintenance tasks. Remain flexible and complete additional duties as needed to meet production demands. Work with peers and support teams to identify or report equipment needing repair. Teamwork Communicate effectively with team members and support departments. Complete required training and development activities. Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, processes, and material flow.
