• Part-Time (Special Payroll)
• Program operates every Saturday during daytime hours
• Shift is approx. 5 hours

JOB OVERVIEW :

The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is a masters level position responsible for direct therapy with older teens and young adults enrolled in the Center for Autisms STEP program.

STEP programming is specifically designed to promote clients engagement in the community and support their transition to post-secondary education and / or the workplace. Treatment primarily focuses on teaching pre-vocational and independent life skills. These activities can include performing household chores traveling in the community preparing meals learning about adolescence and puberty shopping socialization and other expectations of living independently in a community.

Have a masters degree in a human services field such as social work psychology counseling marriage and family therapy etc. and have 1 years of direct care experience or supervised practice
