Overview

As the Associate Creative Director (Copy) you will find yourself at the intersection of doing the work and learning to lead the charge. Apply your established craft while learning to leverage the written word in different mediums and embrace new leadership responsibilities. Senior writers will seek your thoughtful input and you’ll have the opportunity to lead in creative direction.

Responsibilities

Support and lead the creative team in brainstorming sessions and concept creation.

Offer smart, thoughtful points of view on creative concepts.

Assist in and help direct asset creation, delivering work you’re proud of.

Exhibit a strong strategic sense—offer feedback and challenges to strengthen creative briefs.

Stay current on latest industry trends.

Pay attention to details : i.e., grammar.

Maintain the highest quality on creative deliverables.

Lead the production of an idea while coaching more junior talent on how it’s done.

Participate and help plan community‑building events.

Be receptive to constructive criticism.

Be proactive in finding ways to support the creative team.

Oversee Junior and Senior Copywriters, and learn to offer collaborative feedback on art direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Creative Writing, Advertising / Portfolio school.

7+ years of professional creative writing.

Portfolio that demonstrates conceptual brand work.

Creative writing pieces.

Strong awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns and interactive experiences.

Experience mentoring more junior talent.

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.

Compensation Range : $116,000 – $133,000 / yr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
