Overview :
To support a client navigating rapid growth and evolving regulatory demands in the asset management and RIA space, LABUR is deploying a seasoned Learning and Development Trainer. This engagement is focused on architecting and delivering high-impact training programs that elevate team capabilities across financial services, investment products, compliance, and client relationship management. The consultant will translate complex financial concepts into engaging, actionable learning experiences, driving clarity, confidence, and consistency across the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Design and Deliver Training Programs : Create and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Needs Assessment : Collaborate with business leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Content Development : Develop high-quality learning materials including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and assessments.
- Continuous Improvement : Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and learning analytics; refine programs to maximize impact.
- Industry Expertise : Stay current with trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant and compliant.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Partner with subject matter experts, compliance officers, and senior leaders to align training initiatives with strategic goals.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum 5 years in learning and development, with at least 3 years in the asset management or RIA industry.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Education, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP®, CFA®, CIMA®, or CPTD) are a plus.Strong facilitation and presentation skills.Instructional design expertise (ADDIE, SAM, or similar models).Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.Deep understanding of investment products, advisory services, and regulatory frameworks (SEC, FINRA, etc.).Experience training in the financial services industry.Passion for helping others grow and succeed in their careers.
