EMI Services is hiring a Boiler Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on one or more boilers to produce high-temperature water for use in an establishments.
Salary
38.26 / hr. plus $4.93 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair boiler systemsConduct routine inspections to ensure efficient operationTroubleshoot and diagnose boiler malfunctionsPerform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating partsMonitor and control gauges, meters, and other instruments related to boiler operationsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standardsAnnual InspectionsAdjust controls and settings to optimize boiler performanceDocument all maintenance and repair activitiesProvide emergency repair services when necessaryTrain and supervise junior techniciansAssist in energy audits and recommend improvements for efficiencyEssential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitudeExperience with circulation pumpsBasic proficiency with building controlsStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsExcellent troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and safety standardsProficiency in using diagnostic and repair toolsGood communication skillsBasic computer skills for documentationAbility to work in high-pressure environmentsPRACTICE WORKPLACE SAFETY in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies used in repair of boiler equipmentIncluding proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent5 years’ experience in boiler maintenance and repair with various types of boiler systemsTechnical training or apprenticeship in boiler maintenanceCertification in boiler maintenance and repairRegular, dependable attendance requiredValid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain onePass a pre-employment drug screening and background checkU.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installationsPhysical Requirements
