Production Planner I

Santa Teresa, NM | 🏭 New Plant | 🚀 Growth-Focused Team💵 $60,000 – $70,000 + Gainshare Incentive Opportunity

Join our expanding operations at one of thyssenkrupp Materials NA’s newest manufacturing plants as a Production Planner I . This is a hands-on, cross-functional role perfect for someone ready to bring clarity, coordination, and continuous improvement to our production floor. Help us meet customer demands while optimizing performance, people, and production.

What You’ll Do :

Turn production specs into actionable plans — tools, team, and timeframes

Prepare and prioritize work orders for both routine and urgent jobs

Adjust schedules due to labor / material availability, maintenance, or order changes

Use JobBOSS and other systems to manage workflow and production plans

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Materials teams to align demand with execution

Balance workloads and plan across machines based on lead times, capacities, and priorities

Monitor job flow, delays, and bottlenecks — proactively keep things on track

Coordinate expedited jobs, delivery schedules, and PPAPs as needed

Support warehouse teams and work around machinery in a fast-paced production environment

You Bring :

0–3 years’ experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling

High school diploma or equivalent required

Solid computer skills + ability to read engineering drawings

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

Team-first attitude and excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask and pivot quickly when priorities shift

Extra Awesome :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

Experience with ERP / MRP systems — JobBOSS and SAP a plus

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
