Summary :
The role of an Heart Failure / VAD Coordinator is one that encompasses specialized nursing care focused on protection, promotion, and optimization of the health and abilities of the patient with heart failure as well as the Ventricular Assist Device recipient. This position is responsible for working with the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate, oversee, and monitor medical and psychosocial activities related to heart failure; including the collection, organization, and submission of statistical data.
